WEBlynks Science Briefs

Black History Month is here and this is the perfect time  to highlight the origin of the name "WEBlynks" from our science brief blogs and videos.

Simple put, WEBlynks Science Briefs' was inspired by American sociologist, historian, author, editor, and activist, W.E.B Du Bois.

He was the most important Black protest leader in the United States during the first half of the 20th century. He shared in the creation of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) {-https://www.britannica.com/biography/W-E-B-Du-Bois}.

and Beebe Steven Lynk, professor of medical Latin botany and materia medica and one of the earliest black women chemists in the United States.
